Grant of Drug Sales Licence

Drug & Food Control Organization,J&K Grants Selling Licenses for Drugs as per the provisions of Drugs Cosmetics Act-1940. For the sale of Allopathic, Homeopathic drugs in Form 20, 21, 20B, 21B, 20A, 21A, 20C, 20D, 20F, 20G, 20BB,21BB.

For the sale of Ayurvedic Drugs and Cosmetics no sale licence is required.

The Requirements of Sales premises are as follows:

Minimum carpet area:-

­ For Retail sale - 10 square meter
­ For Wholesale - 10 square meter
­ For Retail - Wholesale together - 15 square meter

 

 

Storage facilities

Adequate storage facilities including cupboards with glass doors, racks refrigerator is required

 

 

Procedure to obtain licenses

CHECKLIST

WHOLESALE: STAGE-I

1)Application addressed to licensing authority.
2)Biodata of applicant.
3)Attested copies of Qualification certificate,State Subject,Address Proof.
4)Details of constitution of firm.
5)Experience certificate(5 years in case of Metric & 2 years in case of Graduation) along with salary records duly attested C.A/Proprietor of firm'
6)Stockist Slip letter.

STAGE-II

1) Form-19, Additional information form,Identification form.
2)Rent Deed/Documents in support of proposed premir.
3)Site plan on Butler paper attested by Draftsmen/Architect.
4)Treasury Voucher of Rs.3000/- submitted in account head 0210.
5)Affidavits attested by Judicial Magisterate First Class.
6)In case of Partnership:-Partnership Deed/Affidavits of partner.
7)Bill of registration.

 

 

Retail

Certificate of renewal of licence to sell, stock or exhibit or offer for sale or distribute drugs in the case of all the above licences except form 20BB and form 21BB are issued in form 21C and that of 20BB and 21BB are issued in form 21 CC.
